Khalid, a ten-year-old boy, is an ordinary student with no difference from his classmates. His schoolmates call him Hippopotamus because he is chunky and clumsy. But hardly anybody notices his sharp wit and friendly nature. Nevertheless, one day, young philosopher will give life lessons to his mates and even to adults.

Rafig Aliyev
Born in 1949 in Fuzuli (Azerbaijan SSR). A film and theatre director, actor and producer. Graduated from the Cultural Education Faculty of the Leningrad Institute of Culture. He started to work as director at Azerbaijan state theatre of young spectators in 1994. Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Republic (1990). People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Republic (2007).

Javid Tavakkul
Born in 1974 in Tartar (Azerbaijan SSR). Graduated from Tourism Academy in Naberezhnye Chelny (Russia). Entered Rustam Ibrahimbeyov’s International Film School in 2006. Participant of the 1st International Film School in Belye Stolby (Russia). Participant of international film festivals. Awarded with the “Progress” medal of the Azerbaijan Republic.
