Head of “Youth on the March” Competition Jury revealed

American producer Christine Walker will head the Jury of “Youth on the March” Competition which will comprise the films by the most promising young directors.

Being a president of New Globe Films Company and one of the founders of Werc Werk Works Company Christine is famous for paying attention to independent directors and supporting their projects.

Among her works are Silver Bear holder “The Turin Horse” dir. by Bela Tarr, film “Life during wartime” by Todd Solondz awarded for “Best screenplay” at Venice Film Festival, “Howl” – a biographic drama about the life of botanist Allen Ginsberg starring James Franco which was also awarded by FIPRESCI in “Un Certain Regard” Competition and an adaptation of the stories by Charles Bukowski “Faktotum” directed by Bent Hamer.

Apart from 1st-2nd Feature Films Competition the 19th Minsk IFF Listapad will comprise the Main Feature Films Competition, Documentary Films Competitions and Children’s and Youth Films Competition “Listapadzik” and different out-of-competition programmes.

The names of other Jury members will be revealed in October.
