Igor Soukmanov to take part in the Russian Film Festival in Tbilisi
III Russian Film Festival is held in Tbilisi on Nov. 21-25, 2012. The Festival is organized by the International Foundation for Arts and Intercultural Dialogue (Tbilisi), Producing Centre “Kinoproces” (Moscow) with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation of the CIS (IFESCCO).
This year about 30 films will be presented at the Festival. A retrospective of films by Aleksei Balabanov will be held at the Festival.
A lot of well-known Russian film directors, producers, actors and critics take part in the Festival. Alla Sourikova, Yana Troyaova, Anna and Nadezhda Mikhalkovy, Tatiana Yakovenko as well as the organizers of the most important film festivals of the post-Soviet space are among the guests of the Festival. Igor Soukmanov is one of the participants of the III Festival edition.
Yesterday the film "Ko-Ko-Ko" by Avdotya Smirnova opened the Festival. The film won the award for Best Actress at the Film Festival "Kinotavr" in 2012.
The festival will be closed by the picture of "Treason" by Kirill Serebrennikov will be the closing film of the Festival.
