Cannes Film Festival to open with Jerome Salle’s «Zulu»
Jerome Salle’s Zulu will close the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival on May 26.
Zulu is a crime thriller set in South Africa during the apartheid era. Whitaker and Bloom play two policemen investigating a crime of a 18 years old daughter of a famous sportsman.
The film is described as part noir, part social study. Adapted from Caryl Férey's novel (also titled Zulu) the film is shot entirely on location in South Africa.
Let’s remind us that the Festival will be held on May 15-26. Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby will be the opening film.
