New summer film with Timothée Chalamet in "Listapad. Collection" from August, 2

A torrid thriller "Hot Summer Nights" starring Timothée Chalamet ("Call me by your name") bursts into the capital summer movies season. This is the first film by American director Elijah Bynum. The plot, based on a real story of American 90's, is about a shy neighbor boy becoming a "Drug Dealer" in one summer. You are welcome to Pioneer and Falcon Club Boutique Cinema from 2nd to 15th of August to appreciate this confident debut of young director.

This heated summer Daniel will remember for long at least because he fell for the most popular girl in Cape-Code and mixed up with drug dealers. By coincidence, girl's brother is both the town rebel and Daniel's partner, and he'd better never find that out.

"I was in college of Massachusetts when I met guys very similar to those in the film. One of them was such a guy next door – soft and coy. Together with his mate, a conceited alpha male nobody wanted to deal with, he started to sell weed. They quickly succeeded in this business and soon the whole university campus used to get weed from them. However, their relations began to crumble, they stopped trusting each other and it's all over very dramatically. They were kicked from college and disappeared in one night. But there was something tragic in their story – surprising friendship, a fast way up and a headlong plunge – this all happened in one year. A few years later, when I was looking for a story for my scenario, it was this one coming on my mind all the time" said Elijah Bynum about the origin of the idea for the film.

Thus, "Hot Summer Nights" is the assured and unpredictable directorial debut by Elijah Bynum with the main roles played by Timothée Chalamet, Maika Monroe and Alex Roe. Chalamet is well-known by audience for his memorable appearance in Luca Guadagnino's film "Call Me By Your Name" and Greta Gerwig's "Lady Bird". For his perfomance in Guadagnino's film he was nominated for the Oscar's Academy Award for Best Actor. Maika Monroe began her career with the role of Zac Efron's girlfriend, but became really famous after the horror "The Guest". Alex Roe is just starting to win Hollywood, but this year he will be already seen in two feature films such as "Hot Summer Nights",  "Forever My Girl" and in the mystical series "Siren".
