The distribution of "Crystal Swan" will end with the last show at the Dom Kino
The showing takes place at the Dom Kino at 5 p.m. on the 29th of September. It will end the distribution of the Belarussian film of the year, "Crystal Swan". The dramatic comedy about Belarussian 90’s will be presented by the director Darya Zhuk.

The film "Crystal Swan" can be called not only the hit of international film festivals this year, but the hit of Belarussian distribution as this motion picture has real success in Minsk cinemas, being as popular as some blockbusters. The film has been on the third place of Minsk box office for two weeks, lots of shows have been sold out and the distribution of the dramatic comedy has been extended for two weeks. "Crystal Swan" has become a big hit in a cultural life of Belarus and has drawn a response in mass media and social networks. It also has provoked controversial opinions among viewers, but despite them the film has a high rate in general – 7,2 on the Kinopoisk.
The film is holding a triumph at international film festivals together with a successful distribution in Belarus. "Crystal Swan" got the main prize at Almaty Film Festival on the 20th of September and also was shown at "Message to Man" in Saint-Petersburg. Right now the director Darya Zhuk is presenting the movie at "Pacific Meridian" in Vladivostok, where "Crystal Swan" is demonstrated in "Panorama" program along with the hits of the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlinale.
Let’s remind that earlier the film got the Grand Prix of Odesa International Film Festival and the main prize of "Okno Filmfest" in Vyborg. The world premiere took place at the prestigious International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary. "Crystal Swan" will be demonstrated at the London Film Festival and more than other 20 film forums. The distribution of the film starts in the neighboring countries of Belarus: the film will be shown at the cinemas of Russia and Ukraine till the end of the year. The motion picture is nominated for Oscar from Belarus as well.
