1941, the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. Fascists have occupied Minsk. Besieged Soviet soldiers are trying to crack a line. Among them, there is a young tank man who doesn’t want to leave his fighting machine to the enemy. After the fight, the soldier is seriously injured. Local inhabitants save the fellow; they nurse him to health and help him. The tank man comes back to the tank and takes his desperate step to crack a line to Minsk where his beloved girl lives. The fellow realizes that forces are unequal and takes the final combat. Thus, the tank with red stars on its turret burst into the city spreading panic and chaos among the fascists.
