Masha Novikova - 1

Masha Novikova

Born in 1956 in Moscow. Studied at the University of Moscow, worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature. Shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall came to the Netherlands, since then has been living and working in Amsterdam. In 2005 directed her first documentary FALLEN ENGEL about Eastern European women brought to the Netherlands to work as prostitutes. Worked on several films on Chechnya.
