Paolo Sorrentino

Born in 1970 in Naples (Italy). His debut feature ONE MAN UP was shown in competition at the 2001 Venice IFF. Since THE CONSEQUENCES OF LOVE screened at Cannes in 2004, his films have appear regularly at the world’s most renowned film festival: THE FAMILY FRIEND (2005), THE DIVINE (2008; Jury Prize), THIS MUST BE THE PLACE (2011), THE GREAT BEAUTY (2013). The latest won the Oscar and the Golden Globe in the category of Best Foreign Language Film.
