Michael Haneke

Austrian director and set designer of German origin. Teaches directing at the Vienna Film Academy. In 2009, his film THE WHITE RIBBON won the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as the Golden Globe award for the best foreign language film. The Golden Palm for the film AMOUR in 2012, allowed him to enter the elite club of those twice awarded with the highest award of the Cannes Festival. The film also received an Oscar, a Golden Globe, two BAFTA prizes, four Cesars and many other awards.
