On the eve of his conscription, young man Sasha, nicknamed «Jagger», decides to spend his modest savings on some cool sneakers. Accidentally, the sneakers bring him to Amira, the girl he spends the night with. The next morning it turns out that the girl has a 9-year-old son Mitya. The child suffers from autism and some mental disorder. Amira asks Jagger and his friend a small favor: to help her take the boy to the orphanage.

Sergei Solovyov

Born in 1944 in Kem, Karelo-Finnish SSR. Graduated from the VGIK Faculty of Directing (1969), currently teaches at the VGIK and the Institute of Contemporary Arts. People’s Artist of Russia, director of more than 20 films that won numerous awards including Silver Bear for Best Director at Berlin IFF (ONE HUNDRED DAYS AFTER CHILDHOOD) and the Special Jury Prize at Venice IFF (THE STRAY WHITE AND THE SPECKLED).
Full member of the Russian Academy of Motion Picture Arts, Honorary Academician of the Academy of Arts of Russia.
